Job Title: Business Development Specialist
Location: Awka, Anambra State

Salary: N200,000 + Pension, and HMO

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase patient volume and hospital revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate organizations, HMOs, government agencies, schools, churches and community stakeholders.
- Promote hospital services, specialized clinics, and diagnostic offerings to individuals and organizations. Conduct market research to understand competition, pricing, and emerging healthcare needs in Awka and surrounding areas.
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the hospital’s growth objectives.
- Coordinate outreach programs, health talks, medical outreaches, and promotional activities.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and partnership agreements.
- Work closely with medical, administrative, and marketing teams to ensure service excellence.
- Track, analyze, and report business performance metrics and sales activities.
- Represent the hospital at networking events, conferences, and community engagements
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in business development within a hospital or healthcare facility.Strong understanding of healthcare services, hospital operations, and patient engagement strategies.
- Experience working with HMOs, corporate clients, and institutional partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong analytical and market research abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Familiarity with Awka and Anambra State healthcare market is a strong advantage
