Job Summary
The Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and managing profitable relationships with commercial and consumer banking customers by driving business growth, delivering excellent customer service, and managing assigned portfolios effectively. The role focuses on customer acquisition, deposit mobilization, lending activities, revenue generation, and ensuring compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is commercially minded, customer-focused, and capable of identifying opportunities that support sustainable business growth and profitability
Key Responsibilities
* Build, manage, and grow relationships with commercial and consumer banking customers.
* Acquire new customers and expand existing customer portfolios to achieve business growth targets.
* Drive deposit mobilization, loan growth, and overall revenue generation for the business unit.
* Identify customer needs and provide tailored banking products and financial solutions.
* Prepare, assess, and support credit proposals while ensuring sound risk and credit management practices.
* Monitor customer accounts and maintain a healthy and high-performing portfolio.
* Cross-sell and promote the Bank’s products, services, and digital banking solutions.
* Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, KYC, and operational standards.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure timely resolution of customer concerns.
* Prepare periodic business and portfolio performance reports and identify market opportunities for expansion.
Requirements/Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
* Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant banking experience in Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking, Relationship Management, Business Development, or related financial services roles.
* Demonstrated experience in customer portfolio management and target achievement.
