Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Technical Services to provide strategic leadership for the organization’s maintenance, reliability engineering, and technical asset management functions. The successful candidate will drive asset reliability, optimize maintenance operations, oversee engineering workshops, and provide technical advisory on capital investments and equipment procurement.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance operations, including preventive, predictive, corrective, and turnaround maintenance across all business operations.
- Oversee reliability engineering, asset lifecycle management, and condition monitoring to maximize equipment availability.
- Manage centralized workshops, engineering repair facilities, and technical support services.
- Provide technical leadership on major capital investments, heavy equipment acquisition, and engineering procurement.
- Develop maintenance strategies that improve equipment performance while optimizing lifecycle costs.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to manage critical spare parts and maintenance inventory.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, OEM specifications, and HSE requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset reliability and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
- COREN registration or an equivalent professional engineering certification is an advantage.
- 12–15 years of experience in heavy engineering, maintenance, reliability, or asset management.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role within Mining, Oil & Gas, Power, Manufacturing, or other heavy industrial sectors.
- Proven experience managing large-scale maintenance systems, technical assets, and engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of asset management, predictive maintenance, reliability engineering, and engineering procurement.
