HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for partnering with business leaders to drive HR strategies, improve employee experience, and support the structure on all HR value proposition and transformation initiatives.

This role involves working closely with senior stakeholders to align people strategies with business objectives, providing advisory support on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organizational design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategy and plan to support the overall strategic goal, including the management of budgets and resources.

• Continually look for ways to develop and embed employee value proposition and employment brand in line with the corporate strategy.

• Ensures values and culture are clearly defined and imbibed.

• Provide professional advice in policy development; ensure adherence to HR policies.

• Work with staff, senior management and executives to identify emerging issues and needs, and develop, implement and monitor approaches to address them.

• Coordinate HR unit employee communication strategies including the intranet, newsletter and other forms of communication to staff.

• Build and strengthen staff competencies through appropriate learning and development initiatives

• Drive capability building, learning and development to address capability gaps and develop a learning culture.

• Develop and deliver leadership development programs.

• Deliver regular management reports to the Executives and the Managing Director.

• Present briefings and proposals on HR initiatives in key areas of responsibility to senior management and executives.

• Manage employment risks and play an advisory role on employee performance issues to the Managing Director, Heads of Department and line managers.

• Drive and monitor workforce performance; support management via the provision of insightful reports and feedback on workforce performance and the performance management system

• Ensure accountability of management in carrying out roles and responsibilities in the performance management system, and incorporate changes as required through assessment of the system

• Oversee the provision of ongoing performance management information and training for managers and staff

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A recognized HR certification such as SHRM, CIPM, or HRCI is preferred.

• 5+ years of progressive experience in executive support roles, with proven exposure to HR business partnering, talent management, and organizational development.

• Strong HR and business partnering capability with hands-on experience in developing and executing HR strategies across talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational design.

• Demonstrated ability to advise business leaders, enhance employee experience, manage change and transformation initiatives, and deliver impactful HR value propositions aligned with organizational goals

• Align HR initiatives with business goals and transformation priorities.

• Drive recruitment, development, retention, and succession planning.

• Enhance culture, resolve issues, and improve employee experience.

• Use data for insights and ensure adherence to policies and labor laws.

• Build trusted relationships with discretion, integrity, and accountability.
