Job Summary

The Relationship Manager’s primary responsibility is to attract and secure deposits from individuals, businesses, and organizations. Your main goal is to increase the bank’s deposit base and ensure the availability of funds for lending and other banking activities.

Responsibilities

• Actively identify and pursue opportunities to attract new depositors and increase the bank’s deposit base.

• Implement marketing strategies and campaigns to promote deposit products and services to potential customers.

• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

• Assess customers’ financial needs, risk tolerance, and investment objectives to recommend suitable deposit products.

• Explain the features, benefits, and terms of various deposit products to customers, ensuring they understand the offerings.

• Process deposit account applications, complete required documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Present the bank’s fixed deposit offerings clearly and persuasively to clients, highlighting key features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

• Drive cross-selling opportunities for other banking products and services to deepen customer relationships.

• Provide insights and recommendations to management for product improvement or development.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required.

• Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in sales or relationship management, preferably in the financial services industry.

• Knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations
