Asset Manager

The Asset manager shall serve as the strategic and commercial lead for designated upstream and midstream assets. The role is responsible for maximizing asset value, production efficiency, and profitability while ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. The Asset Manager will integrate technical, financial, and operational disciplines to deliver sustainable asset performance and long-term return on investment.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field

•MSc in Engineering or MBA will be added advantage

•Relevant professional certifications such as CFA, CPA/ACCA, PMP, or equivalent will be preferred

•Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in upstream/midstream asset management or oil & gas operations

•Strong financial modelling and budgeting (CAPEX/OPEX) skills

•Proven ability to assess investment potential and drive profitability

•Experience managing acquisitions, financing, and asset disposition

•Solid understanding of HSE and asset integrity standards

•Strong reporting and presentation skills

•Demonstrated leadership and decision-making ability

•Ability to increase revenue streams and optimize asset performance

•Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills

•Act as the business lead for assigned upstream and midstream assets.

•Develop and execute asset-specific operational and commercial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
