ROLE: SME SALES OFFICER
Job summary
The successful candidate will be required to sell assigned products and achieve assigned targets. He/she will be tasked to attain set daily, weekly, and monthly sales, service, and productivity goals as well as ensure optimum delivery of all personal targets and tasks as assigned by direct supervisor or management.
Responsibilities
• Drive the sale of the loan products for the company by identifying key opportunities
• Constant monitoring and review of loan portfolios to minimize risk
• Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
• Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation as specified
• Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and the feasibility of granting loans
• Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up debt payment plans
• Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information
• Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them periodically
• Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
• Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services
• Maintain and update account records
• Assess customer needs, explore all options to cross-sell and resell
• Develop referral networks and maintain relevant knowledge of the industry
• Suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas
Requirements:
• First degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years in SME Sales across financial sales, preferably within the banking or Financial Sector.
• Experience in Microfinance Banking is a MUST.
• Hands-on experience in building and managing large loan portfolios
