About the Role

The Business Development Manager will lead customer acquisition, market expansion, and strategic partnerships for the company’s logistics and express delivery services. This role requires a highly driven sales professional with strong industry experience, proven client networks, and the ability to identify and convert business opportunities into long-term revenue. Candidates should have experience in logistics, express delivery, courier services, or e-commerce, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers in the logistics and express segment.

• Develop tailored business proposals and solutions based on client needs.

• Expand the company’s footprint through active engagement with high-value prospects.

• Drive end-to-end business development activities from lead generation to contract signing.

• Develop and implement sales strategies that align with overall business objectives.

• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify new revenue streams.

• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports.

• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

• Provide strategic insights into logistics and e-commerce delivery operations.

• Collaborate with Operations to ensure product feasibility, pricing accuracy, and service efficiency.

• Develop customer-specific logistics solutions using industry best practices.

• Track, analyze, and report on sales activities

• Use CRM tools to manage pipeline, documentation, and client engagement.

• Optimize sales conversion rates and retention strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

• Minimum 4–7 years proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within: Logistics / Express Delivery / Courier, Transportation or supply chain

• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Existing customer network/resources in logistics or express delivery is an added advantage.

• Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.

• Strong leadership, team management, and coaching abilities.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

• Proficiency with logistics or CRM software is an advantage.

• Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
