Job Title: Tax/Admin Assistant
Location: Abuja
Job Type: Full Time
We are seeking a highly organized and detailed oriented Tax/Admin Assistant to provide day-to-day support for our team. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the office or project workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Communicate with clients or government agencies (IRS, State tax offices)
- Audit of annual and consolidated financial statements (in accordance IFRS and GAAP)
- Prepare annual financial statements and of tax returns
- Tax planning & VAT consulting
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Prepare reports, presentations, or correspondence as needed
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Manage day to day office operations
- Assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, or timesheet collection
- Ensure confidential information is handled with discretion
- Keep up to date with tax laws and filing deadlines
- Review financial records and reports for accuracy
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in an administrative or tax assistant role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Attention to detail and accuracy
