About the Role
The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for building, leading, and optimizing the sales function across the company’s logistics and express delivery operations. This role requires a strategic and experienced sales professional who can establish effective sales processes, develop winning sales strategies, manage high-performing sales teams, and strengthen customer and stakeholder relationships to drive business growth. Candidates should have strong experience in the logistics, courier, express delivery, e-commerce, or supply chain sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Management & Leadership
• Establish and structure the sales management function for the company.
• Train, coach, and mentor sales teams for consistent pipeline growth and conversion.
• Sales Strategy Development
• Design, plan, and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Drive business expansion through strategic partnerships and client collaboration.
• Sales Process & Systems Management
• Build and implement standardized sales processes, systems, and documentation.
• Work closely with Operations and Customer Service to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage CRM usage, reporting, and sales analytics for data-driven decision-making.
• Sales Team Management & Team Building
• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans where necessary.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
• Customer & Stakeholder Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve escalations and ensure customer satisfaction through proactive engagement.
• Represent the company in strategic meetings and negotiations.
• Drive consistent revenue growth through new client acquisition and retention.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales forecasts, market insights, and performance reports.
• Recommend pricing strategies and promotional initiatives based on market trends.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or any related field.
• MBA or professional certifications in Sales, Marketing, or Logistics is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5–7 years relevant experience in logistics, express delivery, companies
• Proven experience in building sales teams, establishing sales structures, and leading strategic sales initiatives. • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Deep understanding of logistics and last-mile delivery operations.
• Ability to design and implement sales processes and systems.
