Job Title: Team Member: Channels & Partnerships

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities within designated channels and markets.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas and emerging trends.
  • Maximize opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell to existing partners, to drive revenue
  • Meet agreed premium targets on an annual basis
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data related to channel and partnership activities, including partner information, sales data, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement data management policies and procedures specific to channels and partnerships to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to channel performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Manage relationships with existing channel partners, serving as the primary point of contact for communication and support.
  • Monitor partner performance and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for optimization.
  • Coordinate channel marketing activities and promotional campaigns to drive sales and enhance partner engagement.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives and partnership projects.
  • Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a BSC/HND. Advanced degree in Business a plus.
  • 5+ years work experience, preferably in financial services/Bancassurance, with a demonstrated track record of achievement
  • Good experience in managing multiple relationships/ with partners across different industry lines is a plus
  • ACIIN, Professional qualification of The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of business development principles and practices, with a proven track record in identifying and pursuing partnership opportunities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Experience in channel management, including relationship building, performance monitoring, and promotional activities.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to assist in the planning and execution of partnership projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
